YUVANES TARUMAN
FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Yuvanes Taruman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Yuvanes Marian Partnership, with over 17 years of experience in legal practice, primarily in litigation, dispute resolution, and advisory work. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for delivering practical, strategic, and client-focused legal solutions across a wide spectrum of matters ranging from corporate and commercial disputes to family, employment, tenancy, debt recovery, and estate-related matters. She obtained her LLB (Hons) from Northumbria University, Newcastle (UK), and subsequently completed her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP), laying a strong academic and professional foundation for her legal career. Over the years, Yuvanes has successfully handled numerous contentious and non-contentious matters involving civil litigation, employment disputes, shareholder and business conflicts, divorce and family-related proceedings, tenancy and property disputes, debt recovery actions, contractual disputes, and corporate advisory matters. Her practice also extends to drafting and advising on shareholders’ agreements, employment contracts, settlement agreements, tenancy agreements, wills, and various commercial documentation for SMEs, startups, and business owners. With extensive experience appearing before various courts and tribunals in Malaysia, Yuvanes is known for her strategic approach in litigation management, negotiation, and dispute resolution. She places strong emphasis not only on legal rights, but also on commercial practicality and long-term client outcomes. Her ability to combine firm legal strategy with practical business understanding has earned her the trust of individuals, corporations, and SMEs alike. In the area of employment and industrial relations, Yuvanes regularly advises both employers and employees on workplace disputes, domestic inquiries, unfair dismissal claims, employment restructuring, misconduct investigations, and Industrial Relations proceedings. She also actively advises clients on risk management and legal positioning prior to disputes escalating into litigation. Beyond litigation practice, Yuvanes is deeply committed to social responsibility and access to justice. She serves as a panel lawyer for LAWA (Legal Advisory & Women’s Aid Centre) under the Malaysian Chinese Association, where she provides legal assistance and advisory services particularly involving women, family, and welfare-related issues. Her involvement reflects her continued dedication towards advocacy, empowerment, and community service. Known for her dedication, professionalism, and strong litigation instincts, Yuvanes continues to lead the firm with a commitment towards delivering effective legal representation while maintaining a practical and solution-oriented approach for every client she represents.

With over 20 years of profound expertise in the legal domain, Ms. Marian Nisha Supaya pursued her law degree at the esteemed University of London (UOL), she embarked on her illustrious journey in the legal arena, marking a significant milestone by being admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate & Solicitor on the 19th of August 2004.
Ms. Nisha's impressive career includes working at prestigious law firms, where she gained valuable experience, honed her skills and solidified her reputation as a seasoned legal practitioner. Ms. Nisha then joined as a partner in Yuvanes Marian Partnership, specializing in conveyancing matters, Ms. Nisha has carefully handled many complex transactions, gaining valuable expertise and insight.
Besides excelling in conveyancing, Ms. Nisha is skilled in various areas of law., encompassing general litigation matters, sale of goods claims and family disputes, among others. Her skill in dealing with legal complexities is clear from her smooth management of security/loan documentation, house project matters, end financing, discharge of charge, conversion, transfer of properties, will writing, and corporate affairs.

In her early years of practice Paval has practiced in a prominent litigation firm in Kuala Lumpur where she was widely exposed to civil litigation. Paval's legal expertise spans a myriad of areas in civil litigation, showcasing her versatility in handling complex cases. From Contractual matters to Tort, Land law, Family Law, Probate & Administration of Estate, Debt Recovery, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Defamation, Administrative Law and Employment law – Paval navigates the legal landscape with finesse, consistently achieving favourable outcomes for her clients.
Gradually Paval’s passion shifted to Industrial Relations and employment related matters upon joining a boutique firm in Petaling Jaya. Personable, pragmatic and pro-active, Paval’s work style helps clients meet their objectives in a timely and straight forward manner.

Sarwitaa Pushparajah
LEGAL ASSISTANT – LLB (HONS) UKM
Sarwitaa Pushparajah is a Legal Assistant at Yuvanes Marian Partnership, where she is actively involved in a broad range of legal matters encompassing civil litigation, Industrial Relations and Employment disputes, Family Law and conveyancing matters. Having successfully completed her chambering with the firm, she continues to contribute closely with the legal team in handling matters from the advisory stage through to litigation support and case management. Throughout her time with the firm, Sarwitaa has gained valuable hands-on experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing cause papers, assisting in court proceedings, and managing case preparations. Her growing exposure to litigation practice has further strengthened her passion for advocacy and dispute resolution, particularly within the areas of civil, Family and Employment matters. Prior to joining Yuvanes Marian Partnership, Sarwitaa completed her legal internship at the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) in Putrajaya, where she was exposed to various aspects of legal advisory, litigation, and trial preparation. Her experience at AGC provided her with a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and courtroom practice, which continues to complement her professional development in practice. In addition to her legal experience, Sarwitaa has demonstrated commendable leadership and organizational abilities, having previously served as Vice President of the United Nations UKM. Through this role, she was involved in initiatives relating to human rights, public interest, and advocacy matters, reflecting her commitment towards justice and community engagement. With her dedication, strong work ethic, and continuous pursuit of professional growth, Sarwitaa remains committed to developing her legal skills and contributing meaningfully to the firm and its clients.
